I took the my Baretta 96a1 40 cal out to target practice today and after 200 rounds the pistol stopped decocking. I talked my friend into purchasing the 92a1 yesterday. We were lucky enough to find some ammunition and went out shooting. I watched several posts about this problem but no one shows how to replace this part they just identify the problem. I chose this pistol because it felt the best in my hand and the 96a1 has several safety features. The weapon will not discharge with a round in the chamber if dropped when the decock is in the safe position. I read that manufactures other than Baretta make a better replacement part. If so who and where? Thank you for your time.
